The Harvard Film Archive welcomes the Iranian filmmaker Rakhshan Bani-Etemad for the series. Bani-Etemad will be present for two nights, April 25 and April 26, 2010, for screenings of her films, followed by a discussion with the audience.
This program is presented with support from the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard, the Crown Center for Middle East Studies at Brandeis, the ILEX Foundation, the Film Study Center at Harvard, Harvard College Women’s Center and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

ILEX Foundation presented its Award for Excellence in Iranian Cinema to Maziar Bahari. The award was presented Saturday, January 9, 2010, in a private reception at the
Museum of Fine Arts,
Boston. The World Premier of Mr. Bahari's new film, An Iranian Odyssey Mossadegh, Oil and the 1963 Coup, followed the reception.
